Mr. James Borland - Corporate Communications

Vancouver, March 4, 2002 -- DRC Resources has retained the services of Mr. James Borland of Borland Levand & Associates to assist the Company with corporate communications. Mr. Borland previously worked with BMO Nesbitt Burns as Manager of Research Communications and for the Northern Miner Newspaper as Editor. Mr. Borland is a member of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada, the Ontario Prospectors Association, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, the Toronto Press Club, and has served as a corporate campaign fundraiser for the United Way in 1992 and 1998.

Mr. Borland's remuneration for corporate communications services is $2500.00 per month. The term of the agreement is for a one year period, with either party having the option to terminate the agreement by providing 30 days written notice of termination.

Mr. Borland has informed the Directors that he has no direct interest in DRC Resources Corporation.
